List of all Unearthed Arcana Material

Unearthed Arcana is a series of official D&D class archetypes, playable races, and rule variants, all published for free on the D&D website. Although it is freely distributed, Wizards of the Coast still holds the copyright and the supplements must be downloaded from their site. Here is a list of all available Unearthed Arcana since 2015.

Giant Options	2022-05-23	In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we explore character options related to the magic and majesty of giants. This playtest document presents the Path of the Giant barbarian subclass, the Circle of the Primeval druid subclass, the Runecrafter wizard subclass, and a collection of new feats, all for use in Dungeons & Dragons.
Heroes of Krynn Revisited	2022-04-25	In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we continue our exploration of character options from the Dragonlance setting. After studying your feedback, we’ve revised the kender race, the Knight of Solamnia and Mage of High Sorcery backgrounds, and several feats for characters from the world of Krynn. You can find this new Dungeons & Dragons playtest material in the PDF below.
Heroes of Krynn	2022-03-08	This playtest document presents the kender race, the Lunar Magic sorcerer subclass, the Knight of Solamnia and Mage of High Sorcery backgrounds, and a collection of new feats, all for use in Dungeons & Dragons.
Travelers of the Multiverse	2021-10-08	In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we explore D&D character options from across the multiverse. This playtest document presents the glitchling race; the Fate Domain cleric subclass; and the gate warden, giant foundling, planar philosopher, and rune carver backgrounds. Additionally, a collection of new feats provide links to giants and other primordial forces of the planes, while a selection of new spells highlight the power of fate and chance.
Mages of Strixhaven	2021-06-08	Become a student of magic in this installment of Unearthed Arcana! This playtest document presents five subclasses for Dungeons & Dragons. Each of these subclasses allows you to play a mage associated with one of the five colleges of Strixhaven, a university of magic. These subclasses are special, with each one being available to more than one class.
Draconic Options	2021-04-14	Harness the power of dragons in this installment of Unearthed Arcana! This playtest document presents race, feat, and spell options related to dragons in Dungeons & Dragons. First is a trio of draconic race options presented as an alternative to the dragonborn race in the Player’s Handbook, as well as a fresh look at the kobold race. Then comes a handful of feat options that reflect a connection to draconic power. Finally, an assortment of spells—many of them bearing the names of famous or infamous dragons—offer a variety of approaches to manifesting dragon magic.
Folk of the Feywild	11 March, 2021	Wander into the magical realm of the Feywild in this month’s Unearthed Arcana! With the playtest options in the PDF below, your D&D character can be a member of one of these new D&D races: fairy, hobgoblin of the Feywild, owlfolk, or rabbitfolk.
Gothic Lineages	26 January, 2021	Transform into a creature of the night in today’s Unearthed Arcana! With the playtest options in the PDF below, your D&D character can become a dhampir, a hexblood, or a reborn.
Subclasses, Part 5	26 October, 2020	Empowered by dragons, two subclasses land in today’s Unearthed Arcana: the Way of the Ascendant Dragon for monks and the Drakewarden for rangers. You can find them in the PDF below. We’ll release a survey soon to find out what you think of them!
Subclasses, Part 4	19 August, 2020	Two spooky subclasses manifest in today’s Unearthed Arcana: the College of Spirits for bards and the Undead patron for warlocks. You can find them in the PDF below, and we’ll release a survey soon to find out what you think of them.
Unearthed Arcana: Feats	13 July, 2020	Today’s Unearthed Arcana presents a selection of new feats for Dungeons & Dragons. Each feat offers a way to become better at something or to gain a whole new ability.
Subclasses revisited	12 May, 2020	Three subclasses reappear today in Unearthed Arcana, each with a new form. After studying your feedback on the Revived, Noble Genie, and Archivist subclasses, we’ve crafted new versions for your consideration: the Phantom, the Genie, and the Order of Scribes.
Psionic options revisited	14 April, 2020	Shine with the power of the mind in this installment of Unearthed Arcana! Today we revisit several psi-themed options that we released in the past few months.
Spells and magic tattoos	26 March, 2020	Conjure forth new magic in your D&D games with the spells and tattoos introduced in today’s Unearthed Arcana. Many of the spells focus on summoning, and the tattoos allow you to ink magic onto your very skin.
Subclasses, Part 3	24 February, 2020	Continuing our series of new D&D subclasses in 2020, Unearthed Arcana presents three more for you to playtest: the Armorer for the artificer, the Circle of the Stars for the druid, and the Fey Wanderer for the ranger. Today’s article also includes some new infusions for the artificer.
Subclasses, Part 2	6 February, 2020	Unearthed Arcana presents three new subclasses for you to playtest: the College of Creation for the bard, the Unity Domain for the cleric, and the Clockwork Soul for the sorcerer.
Subclasses, Part 1	14 Jan, 2020	Unearthed Arcana leaps into 2020 with four new subclasses for you to try out: the Path of the Beast for the barbarian, the Way of Mercy for the monk, the Oath of the Watchers for the paladin, and the Noble Genie for the warlock.
Fighter, Rogue, and Wizard	25 November, 2019	Their minds bristling with power, three new subclasses arrive in today’s Unearthed Arcana: the Psychic Warrior for the fighter, the Soulknife for the rogue, and the tradition of Psionics for the wizard.
Class Feature Variants	4 November, 2019	Every character class in D&D has features, and every class gets one or more class feature variants in today’s Unearthed Arcana! These variants replace or enhance a class’s normal features, giving you new ways to enjoy your character’s class.
Fighter, Ranger and Rouge	17 October, 2019	The fighter gets a Martial Archetype option: the Rune Knight. The ranger gains a Ranger Archetype option: the Swarmkeeper. And the rogue acquires a Roguish Archetype option: the Revived.
Cleric, Druid, and Wizard	3 October, 2019	Three classes each receive a playtest option this week. The cleric receives a new Divine Domain option: the Twilight Domain. The druid gains a new Druid Circle option: the Circle of Wildfire. And the wizard gains a new Arcane Tradition feature: Onomancy, the magic of true names.
Bard and Paladin	18 September, 2019	Two classes, the bard and the paladin, discover new playtest possibilities this week. The bard receives a new Bardic College feature: the College of Eloquence. Additionally, the paladin gains a new Sacred Oath feature: the Oath of Heroism.
Sorcerer and Warlock	9 September, 2019	Two classes, the sorcerer and the warlock, discover new playtest possibilities this week. The sorcerer receives a new Sorcerous Origin feature: the Aberrant Mind. Meanwhile, the warlock gains a new Otherworldly Patron feature: the Lurker in the Deep. We’ve also included a new cantrip: mind sliver.
Barbarian and Monk	15 September, 2019	Two classes, the barbarian and the monk, discover new playtest possibilities this week. The barbarian receives a new Primal Path feature: Path of the Wild Soul. Meanwhile the monk gains a new Monastic Tradition feature: the Way of the Astral Self.
